I was in Stirling for the bells this year. Tried to grab some pictures of the fireworks at the castle which on the face of it was a great place to try it. Big frustration was the lighting of the castle though.It wasn't that there was none as you can see to the right. It's just they were switched off when the fireworks went off! Not sure it added anything to the fireworks to do that, but certainly annoying from a photography perspective. Had some better more colourful shots, but this was the only one where the light from the fireworks made the castle distinguishable.
The view of Loch Lomond from Conic Hill. We were really blessed with extraordinary weather. On the whole it was sunny save for a passing hail stone shower which gave me these images.
Europe's largest onshore windfarm were running a competition for best photograph. Except I only got down there after the closing date had ended. So here anyway are some of the snaps I took.
