I totally agree, the right wing media do have a lot to answer for.
I've honestly got high hopes for tomorrow, the bnp lost their deposit in Glasgow & as you said the edl or sdl were seen off in Glasgow, i'm sure the same will happen in Edinburgh tomorrow.

I think the muslims do more than enough to give themselves a bad name. What you call "islamophobia" is simply normal, intelligent people waking up to facts of what consequences the spread of islam is having all over Europe.

I agree that openness and truth are needed, but so far that doesn't seem to have come from muslims themselves, who keep demanding respect just for being muslims, i.e. superstitious. I'd like to see some reasons as to why they should be particularly respected.

No - it is NOT needed. What is needed is the expulsion of muslims who refuse to integrate, who continue bleating for imposition of sharia, who wish to impose primitive muslim constraints on women, etc, etc. Most people are fed up with muslims because of their behavior - and this is largely to do with islam itself. You want to do something useful - make sure YOUR people (muslims) integrate into OUR society rather than waste OUR money to accuse us of islamophobia because we don't like the fact that muslims often behave like pigs whilst using islam as a justification!!! Most muslims are not terrorists, but nearly ALL terrorists are muslims!! I am quite sure that this will not appear in your blog - but that is the nature of muslims - to pretend that the unpleasant nature of islam doesn't exist and to bleat islamophobia whenever it is discussed. We don't need you, so learn to live with us in OUR society or LEAVE.
