Further bad news for Policy Exchange
The Sun and the Daily Mail have taken down their reports of last year's dodgy Policy Exchange report which purported to show evidence of extremism in British mosques. It was exposed by Newsnight that several of the receipts used in the 'research' were faked.
The British Muslim Initiative is continuing dialogue with other newspapers who have not done the same. It was telling that they gave good prominence to their original stories, but despite the juiciness of Newsnight's revelations, they were not so quick off the mark in criticising the think tank.
We are also still waiting for Policy Exchange's promised legal action against the BBC. As they say, don't hold your breath.

"As they say, don't hold your breath." Unless you walk past the Policy Exchange HQ, in which case you should hold your nose.

Sorry,
my apologies, my mistake.
There are some who don't mind being associated with an intellectual like David T -

Am I seeing double standards here? Is this a case of someone who hides behind the name Joe90 outing another bloggers real name?
Hey Joe, what is your real name?
Graham

Obviously you haven't noticed yet Graham, but I'm not a blogger.
I don't care either who knows or doesn't know me, where I live etc - it doesn't take a genius to discover any of the trivial details of my umimportant life.
However, I don't mind publicising the details of notorious race-hate, Muslim-baiting, New Labour supporting website sewers such as 'Harry's Place' blog.
I do this as a service for those good Muslim folks out there who are regulars to Osama's blog, but who wouldn't otherwise visit or be welcomed at British race-hate sewers, prominent among them being 'Harry's Place' blog, of which david t is a proud public contributor.
Others who might be interested in New Labour's links to Muslim-baiting, Muslim hating British neo-con institutions and websites would SNP supporters and potential SNP voters. So they know exactly what British New Labour is really all about
ie dominated by foreign yanqui neo-conservatism and its fervent anti-Muslim propaganda.

Have any of these newspapers admitted that what they printed was inaccurate? Have any of them apologised? Have any offered damages to the mosques concerned?
Without this, little has been gained. Why do Muslims settle for so little and then proclaim it as a victory?

Graham, everyone has a very good idea of who Mr J Ninety really is. But yes Mr Ninety does apply double standards. He has to, because he believes that he is morally right, and the rest morally wrong. So when he outs someone, it must be in the public's interest, even if they don't know it. He's probably smarting because Harry's Place have outed him!!!!
oh sometimes grown men make me laugh.
