This is the LRB lite version - there are links at the bottom of the article to the full unedited version.

There are also links to a video deabte, letters written to LRB etc

The actual book is even bigger, apparantly.

I haven't read the article myself - I don't really care much for the idea that there are people or lobbies around able to boss corporate America about, against its 'own interests'! In your dreams!

Here is a review of W & M's book -

The book was number 62 in the US best-sellers list yesterday (Tuesday) but today it's up to number 32 -

Here's a photo of some (illegaly Occupied) Palestinian chiselers off to school in the morning, found on the IMEU website - I thought some of the the denizens of RuT might appreciate it too -

Here are probably the two most famous American critics of the idea that the US 'pro-Israeli lobby' is overwheening and that it damages US interests -
http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?ItemID=9999>The Israel Lobby?
by Noam Chomsky
ZNet - ZMag.org

And a much longer appraisal -
http://www.fpif.org/fpiftxt/3270>The Israel Lobby: How Powerful is it Really?
by Stephen Zunes
Foreign Policy in Focus
16 May 2006

I would also recommend anything by Gabriel Kolko, who is essential when it comes to US Foreign Policy.

Call up Alan Dershowitz and scream "holocaust denial."
