Lying Muslims with international loyalties

The Scotland on Sunday was virtually the only Sunday not to have any coverage of our rally against terrorism a couple of weeks ago. The Sunday Herald carried three pages of it, while the Sunday Mail, Mail on Sunday, and the Sunday Post all covered it. The Sunday Telegraph put it on their front page.

Now you could say that this was a sin of omission on the part of the SoS. Today's nonsense article today suggests that it may be a bit deeper than that. They've definitely ignored one of things things I said in the lead up to the rally:

We have a simple equation facing us. We have the terrorists on one side, and the rest of Scotland on the other – whether they be Muslim, Christian, people of other faiths or none. We mustn’t start accusing people of being terrorists when they plainly aren’t.”

Now I don't think anyone's going to take Tom Gallagher's claims over seriously. He compares Alex Salmond's reaction to the Glasgow Airport attack to Tony Blair's after the death of Diana. Gallagher's meant to be some sort of academic, but given his comic analysis I think he is to academia what Blair was to trust in politics.

He reckons our problems with extremism in this country are people that condemn terrorism loudly, and take part in elections. It's because Muslims could be lying you see. There are also Muslims who have "international loyalties" according to the academic, reminding us of those who accused Jews and Catholics of exactly the same in decades gone by.

They were wrong then, and people like Gallagher are wrong now.

Salmond didn't go OTT after the airport attack. The same people would have criticised him if he'd done nothing.

'A week later, on 7 July, the cream of Scotland's establishment gathered in George Square in Glasgow's heart to offer them protection and reassurance.'

I had to laugh at that bit I had no idea I was part of the cream of the Scottish establishment!

This Tom Gallagher of the internationally renowed and prestigious University of Bradford, reminds me of John Pilger's famous maxim - reverse whatever the puppets of power in the western mass-media say, and that is the truth. Eduard Galeano, the world's most widely read journalist, calls it the Upside Down World. Just in passing, in his pre 11-9 book
Upside Down: a Primer for the Looking-Glass World
- Eduardo muses on the future of someone called 'Osama bin Laden', and wether he'll become the west's next big bogey man!

Tom Gallagher refers to Muslims who could be lying and Muslims who have international loyalties -
- in reality, as everyone knows, it is New Labour and Tony Blair who are the liars and who have international loyalties - it is New Labour and Tony's rigid dedication to following their orders from Washington ,aka 'British Foreign Policy', which has put British folk in danger, as Blair well knew because he was told this by his own employees in British Intelliegence

Nasser -
Tom refers to Colonel Nasser and not President Nasser. As a Colonel, Gamal had no influence on Egyptian government policy, so why use his former army status - or why not call him Dr or Prof Nasser, as he was also a university lecturer?

Alex Salmond may never have worn a uniform....Scotland's answer to Colonel Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt or the Irish leader Michael Collins, who both struck out against an overmighty Britain in the last century with impressive effect

- this is just grim, coming from an academic as well - utterly pathetic.
President Nasser didn't do anything except carry out the policies of his own people. Obviously, to the likes of Tony-lovers such as Tom here, this is anathema. And it was the US who dealt the blow to British prestige over Britian's illegal 'unprovoked aggression' and invasion of Egypt, not Nasser.

Democracy -
Salmond the equivalent of the Suez canal is Britain's fleet of nuclear submarines whose home base is in a deep-water loch northwest of Glasgow.

- again, Alex Slamond would be responding to c.85% of the Scottish public who are against nuclear anything, not just nuclear subarines which have no use whatsover, and are a deterrent against nothing. The didn't deter Saddam and his supposed WMD programmes

Kosovo -
- again, Tom topsy-turvy, who claims to be an academic, shows us his support for unprovoked aggression when the UK, under the NATO umbrella (NATO get to do stuff that the US isn't that interested in, such as occupying Afghanistan at the present time - an utterly hopelsss futile task if there ever was one) bombed Serbia thus initiating a humanitarian crises. A crisis the UK was well aware would occur if they started to bomb Serbia. Traditionally, the western massmedia has reversed these events to make it seem that NATO only started to bomb when Serbia began its ethnic cleanisng campaign against Kosovo-Albanians. This isn't true. The bombing started first - then Serbia, in response, ethnically cleansed. Read anything by Edward Herman on the ZMag.org site on the matter - he is probably the most knwoledgable scholar on the subject at the present timke..

Scottish voting patterns -
When did Scottish Muslim folk start to vote in a substantial way for the SNP - probably about the same time as huge chunks of other Scottish voters abandoned Tony Blair's New Tory Party.

Tom, the so-called academic, makes no attempts to explain these votiong phenomena - an academic's job is to explain - that's why the public subsidises their wages, otherwise they are completely superfluous parasites living at public expense in ivory towers.

Why would a Scottish Muslim vote for a party like Tony's New Labour, that was using them as scapegoats - that makes about as much sense as gay folk voting for anti-gay Tory party!

British support for extremism -
As for the creation of pie-in-the-sky revolutionary new Islamic states - again, Topsy Turvy Tom doesn't know what he's talking about. Britian has been supporting and arming such a state for 70 years - it's called Saudi Arabia. Indeed, the British government is so incahoots with this corrupt theocratic 'extremist' fundamentalist state that it won't even investigate fraud and corruption that occurs in the huge arms deals between the House of Fraud and UK buisnessmen -
Dropping Saudi probe 'harmed UK'
BBC
29 April 2007

Although the US government isn't so coy when it comes to investigating British fraud and corruption in the arming and supporting of the fundamentalist extremist Wahhabis of the House of Fraud -
US to probe BAE over corruption
BBC
26 June 2007

As we know,
Saudi Arabia is where the CIA traditionally recruits for its its terrorist organisations, such as the anti-Soviet Afghanistan Mujihadeen and Al Quaeda. The family links between the America Bush family and the House of Saudi family are to well known for me to go into. Tom topsy turvy though, never even mentions it.

Nazi-style scapegoats -
Still, blame our Scottish Muslim sisters and brothers who need our help in their hour of need - put the boot in while they're down Tom. That has always been the western and the British government way of treating their victims - after all Tom, you don't think a pair of cowards such as Bush and Blair would have attacked, say, Iraq if it could have defended itself, and did possess WMD?
