This is funny too. There is a difference between The Crusades and a crusade. Only someone looking for ways to be offended would get upset about Cameron's use of the word.

However, I do agree that The Word should be consigned to the dustbin of history. It was a terrible programme, although, to be fair, they did have some good bands on now and then.

"the crusades are hardly the model of best practice", now you have me laughing Osama. Really you should email this to the Conservative Central Office; how can the blithering eejit come up with "crusades"? Does this mean that the Conservative Party is mentally still mired in the 11th Century? Wouldn't surprise me....
