COPS marched four Asian men off a plane after a passenger said their behaviour made him nervous.
The men — in Islamic robes — were arguing in a foreign language and then all went to the toilet, one after the other.
A fellow traveller on the Luton to Glasgow easyJet flight demanded they be kicked off — just as the plane was to taxi to the runway.
Cabin crew alerted the captain and cops were called, who took the men, all in their 20s, off the plane.
Everyone else on board was then ordered off with their hand luggage while the crew searched the cabin.
The jet took off an hour and ten minutes late at 10pm on Wednesday.
Another passenger said: “A Scottish bloke in his 20s who was sat beside them clearly thought something was up. He was arguing strongly that these lads were up to no good and should be taken off.
“Considering they had just got on a minute before, their behaviour was pretty bizarre. I think other people were worried.
“The men were all wearing jackets over long Islamic robes. They had beards and looked like Muslims.”

"The men — in Islamic robes — were arguing in a foreign language and then all went to the toilet, one after the other."
....and that wouldn't have made anyone a little nervous? C'mon.
Islamaphobia is a serious problem, but is this really a good example?

Remember the Monarch flight where a couple of Muslims were thrown off in August? Initial reports said they were wearing thick jackets that passengers worried had bomb making equipment underneath. Later we found out that they were actually wearing tshirts as you would in Spain. I just post the article up for information. Let's wait to see what more information emerges.

From the article:
"The men — in Islamic robes — were arguing in a foreign language and then all went to the toilet, one after the other."
I bet they were "arguing" about whether it was prayer time (taking into account fatawa on shortening, combining, delaying, etc.) - and then went to the bog to make whudu!
LOL!
Still, this is ridiculous. We should write to EasyJet telling them that we shall be boycotting them unless and until they apologise to the gentlemen concerned and assure us that such discrimination will not happen again.

They looked like Muslims eh? I laugh at stuff like this. Considering Muslims come from every part of the world, if you stereotype them into one "look" as a security practice you are going to get it very wrong.
I am blond haired, blued eyed. I am well over 6 foot tall. I was born in Germany, I carry an American passport. I have tattoos.
But guess what? Yep.....I am a Muslim.

Islamaphobia does seem to be reaching hysterical heights.
I suppose if there have been dozens of bomb plots in the UK (some killing many people) and we are told that 2000 people from the UK islamic communities being targets of the security service then people have some basis for their hysteria.
